Region XIII High School Summit - Featuring Ruby Payne!

High School Summit June 9-11, 2008 Education Service Center Region XIII 2008 .  In the full-day keynote workshop, Dr. Payne will focus on serving Under-Resourced learners. She will help conference participants learn to identify the resources students must bring to the table to reach their potential in school - not just financial resources but others including language, relationships and role models, support systems, etc. Also, participants will have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions, for more information, visit the High School Summit website (www5.esc13.net/hssummit).

Texas Superintendents’ Certification Institute – The 08-09 cohort is forming now.

A blended online program designed by superintendents, for aspiring superintendents. Attend face-to-face sessions in San Antonio (ESC20) and Austin (ESC13) once every six weeks. The University of Texas at Tyler’s Web-Enhanced Superintendent Certification Program

Attend face-to-face classes for two Saturdays during the semester for each course offered. Complete the rest of the course online using Blackboard. Complete the Superintendent Certification courses in one calendar year. Scholarship money is available.
