Joe’s Commentary: Flexible Calendar - Part 2

Yesterday, I shared an article from Midland ISD concerning a flexible calendar option being presented by staff to the board. Today, I am following up with an article discussing the board meeting where this idea was presented (MISD trustees want input on school calendar).
Trustees said input from parents and teachers is needed to make any changes at this late date in the 2019-20 school year. If approved, teachers would be scheduled to report on July 27.
For your calendar to be effective, it is going to have to be flexible as you go forward. - js- webmaster@texasisd.com
