Bastrop school district approves $73.1 million budget

The Bastrop school district has approved a $73.1 million budget for the 2014-2015 school year.
The budget, which was approved by the school board on Tuesday, will include money to create an early college high school, a 3 percent raise for teachers, a 3 percent raise for support staff on median salaries and other raises for employees.
