This is a broadcast email sent to all Foundation School Program (FSP) State Funding bulletin members. This message is an announcement regarding the New Instructional Facility Allotment (NIFA) for the upcoming 2022–2023 school year. NIFA is an allotment for school districts and charter schools that will occupy an entirely new campus for either the first or second year during the 2022-2023 school year. The allotment provides up to $1,000 per student in Average Daily Attendance (ADA) on the new campus. In order to stay within the legislative appropriation, actual allotments may be prorated below the maximum allowable. The total amount appropriated for the program is limited to $70 million per year. The online application for funding opens Wednesday, May 18th, 2022 in the FSP application in TEAL. The deadline to apply for the NIFA is Friday, July 15th, 2022.
