The Board of Education for Anton ISD proudly announces Mr. Freddy Tobias as the new Superintendent of Schools. The action was taken at a board meeting after the state-mandated 21 day waiting period was met. Mr. Tobias has 20 years of experience in Texas public schools and is currently the High School Principal in Anton, TX, having served in that role since 2022. He and his wife Veronica have 1 child, Samantha, a junior in high school. Veronica works for Affordable Storage. Mr. Tobias has done an outstanding job in his current role and comes very highly recommended. He is a former administrator, principal, vice-principal, teacher, and head coach with stints in Lorenzo, Lubbock Cooper, Lubbock ISD, Floydada and Lubbock Roosevelt.
