Caldwell ISD Hires New Superintendent

On November 30, the Caldwell ISD Board of Trustees voted to hire James Barton as the district’s new superintendent. Barton most recently served as the Assistant Superintendent for Business and Support Services in San Marcos CISD. He began his career as a teacher in North East ISD. Barton has also served as assistant principal and assistant principal of curriculum in North East ISD. Barton reported to the district today, December 1, 2021.
