Region 17 wishes to announce the Lone Finalist for Motley County ISD:

The Motley County Independent School District Board of Trustees proudly announced Kurt Koepke as the Lone Finalist for Superintendent of Schools on March 22, 2022. By state statue, the Board must now wait 21 days before action can be taken to employ Mr. Koepke. Kurt has been a Principal at Hartley ISD since 2016. He also served as a teacher/coach at Dumas ISD from 2007-2016. Mr. Koepke received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming in 2006 and his Master's degree from Lamar University in 2017. Kurt and his wife, Becky, have three children (MacKenzie-4th grade, Maci-2nd grade, and MacKayli-Kindergarten). Kurt and his family are looking forward to making Motley County (Matador) their new home. (23)
