The Guthrie Common School District Board of Trustees proudly announces the new hiring of Steve Wolf as the new Superintendent of Schools on May 3, 2022.  

Steve has been a Superintendent at Lazbuddie ISD since 2016.  He has also served as a Superintendent at Byers ISD, Principal at Byers ISD and Motley County ISD, and a Career and Technology Education Director for Wichita Falls ISD from 2003-2016.  Steve started his career as an Agriculture Science Teacher in 1990 until 2003.  Mr. Wolf received his Bachelor’s degree from Tarleton State University in 1987 and his Master's degree from Texas Tech University in 1991.  Mr. Wolf has a total of 32 years in education, including 12 years as a Superintendent.  Steve and his wife, Katie, have two adult daughters (Annie and Stefanie).  Steve and his wife are looking forward to making Guthrie their new home.
