Coronavirus crisis prompts Richardson ISD to consider pass/fail grading system
Richardson ISD officials are considering grading elementary, junior high and high school students on a pass/fail basis the rest of the school year because of the coronavirus pandemic. The change, which would also affect how class rankings are calculated, was discussed during Monday’s school board meeting. “Teachers would still be providing feedback, and they would still be grading all assignments,” Deputy Superintendent Tabitha Branum said during the meeting.
