Thursday Morning - Bastrop High School student stabbing incident

Bastrop ISD in conjunction with our local law enforcement has been investigating a stabbing, which occurred this morning at Bastrop High School. Campus administrators immediately put the school on lockdown and transported students to the J.F.W. Performing Arts Center. The student who was injured has been transported to a local hospital and according to local law enforcement, the suspect in question has been positively identified and apprehended. Students have been released to go to class. We will share information as it continues to become available via social media, phone blasts and email.
