Temple ISD has announced the newest principal of Travis Science Academy. The district announced that Ryan Mann was approved as the next Principal of the campus by the Board of Trustees at a meeting this June. Mann currently serves as an assistant principal at Hutto Middle School in Hutto, according to Temple ISD. He has also served as a science teacher and robotics teacher at Hutto ISD.

Today (June 11) during a special-called meeting, the Lubbock Independent School District (Lubbock ISD) Board of Trustees named Loren Henderson as the next principal of Nat Williams Elementary School for the 2026-2027 academic year. Henderson fills the role following the retirement of Suzanne McCall at the end of the 2025-2026 school year. Declining enrollment and mounting financial pressures are forcing El Paso ISD to eliminate nearly 250 positions across the district, according to a notice filed with the Texas Workforce Commission. The district notified state workforce officials it plans to reduce its workforce by approximately 249 employees as part of an effort to align staffing levels with projected enrollment, available funding and long-term financial sustainability goals. The former Wylie ISD assistant principal who was arrested for soliciting prostitution from a minor is now facing an additional charge, police announced on Friday. 32-year-old Zachary Neu was arrested on June 4 and charged with soliciting prostitution from a minor. Neu was an assistant principal at Wylie East High School prior to his arrest.

A now-former principal in the Wylie Independent School District was arrested for allegedly offering an underage student alcohol and lingerie in exchange for sex. Zachary Christian Neu, 32, was arrested June 4 and charged with compelling prostitution of a child under the age of 18, a first-degree felony. A statement from the Wylie Police Department referred to Neu as a “former” assistant principal at Wylie East High School. According to police, the investigation began following a report that Neu was communicating inappropriately with a recent 2026 Wylie East graduate.

Tiffany Doolan, who had worked for Wylie ISD for 19 years, notified the district of her resignation on May 26. In a statement, the district said Doolan had been a victim of targeted online attacks and public hostility.
