TAB calling for statewide audit of top 100 school districts
An internal Audit of the Dallas school district has found that 10 of its high schools may have graduated students who failed to meet standards. Texas Association of Business CEO Bill Hammond is outraged. He says,"Based on what has happened in Dallas and how widespread it is within 10 high schools, we have concerns that it might be taking place all across the state. That's why we asked the State auditor to look into the top 100 school districts which would obviously include Austin." Hammond says it's not fair to the students who actually put in the work to graduate.
