Building the citizens’ resume

More than 50 interested citizens showed up Thursday to detail what they want in Huntsville ISD’s next leader.

Five hourlong sessions were led by Butch Felkner, director of the Texas Association of School Boards Executive Search Services. The citizens who attended the sessions were from a cross-section of the community, including the NAACP, LULAC, Sam Houston State University, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, City of Huntsville staff, retired teachers,
